The Lāhainā Public Library is closed until further notice.

Kāneʻohe Public Library

Feb. 27, 2026 Update | Kāneʻohe Public Library’s temporary Pop-Up location in Windward Mall is closed.

While we are getting the library ready, patrons are invited to visit the two nearest branches: Kailua Public Library or Waimānalo Public and School Library.  

The staff is excited to reopen the library doors and offer full services later in the Spring of 2026. We appreciate the community’s patience and support during this two-year renovation period.

ALERT | In holiday observance of Presidents' Day, all public libraries will be closed from Saturday to Monday, February 14 to 16, 2026.

ALERT | In holiday observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, all public libraries will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026.

HOLIDAY CLOSURE | In observance of Good Friday, all libraries will be closed on April 3, 2026.
The Kaimukī and Pearl City branches, which are normally open on Sundays, will also be closed on April 5, in observance of Easter.
